Another option, take the light rail to the show! There is a shuttle that runs from the Hiawatha Line to the Minneapolis Convention Center. Click here for details.
Handicap Parking and Scooter/Wheelchair Rental
Electrical mobility scooters and wheelchairs are available for rent on-site from the Visitor Information Center located next to Dunn Brothers coffee shop in Lobby C. Rates are $50 for a scooter and $20 for a wheelchair.
Handicapped parking is available to individuals with valid disability parking permits in surrounding ramps and lots as well as at parking meters on the street. The Plaza ramp located underground across the street from the Minneapolis Convention Center has handicap parking and easy access to the building via elevators, handicap accessible doors, and the skyway.

Accessibility
Parking
A 900-space underground ramp across the street is connected by skyway to the Minneapolis Convention Center. 8,000 additional spaces are within a 4-block radius. Click here for downloadable parking maps.
Handicap Accessibility
Restrooms, telephone banks and public elevators are all handicapped accessible. The building also has ramp curb cuts and power-operated doors. TDD access is available in the main lobby and administration office.
Wheelchair and Mobilized Scooter Rental
The Minneapolis Convention Center offers half-day and full-day rental of wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
The Mobility Shop provides state-of-the-art mobility equipment which includes power operated vehicles (scooter) or manual wheelchairs. The Mobility Shop recommends reserving your equipment in advance to insure its availability. All equipment is picked up and returned on-site at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
Renting
Renting a wheelchair or scooter is through the Visitor Information Center located on the ground level of the main lobby. They can not be reserved prior to your arrival.
Rates
Minneapolis Convention Center Guests will pay the full-day rate:
Mobility Scooter: Full-day/$50.00 per day
Manual Wheelchair: Full-day/$20.00 per day
Policy
Mobility equipment cannot depart the MCC premises. Overnight use of mobility equipment is prohibited, mobility equipment must be returned prior to departure from the convention center facilities.
